DatMapleSyrup

🥔 DatMapleSyrup (Maple) — the resident potato god, the two-week queen of Hadinlough, Jenava's self-proclaimed supreme overlord, and the server's first market-builder. Her history goes her own way.

Day one

Maple was in-game by Sep 20, 2020 (as King_Maple_); when the archive opened on Dec 7, the greeting was already warm: bearssss's "maple <3" sits in the day-one log. Her first week was the founding-week grind, tree farm included: "guys im trying to build a tree farm" … "do u want to help build tree farm???" — with the era's hazards: "tell minnie to stop killing me" (Dec 2020) and the eternal tree-farmer's lament, "u def dont deserve blue flowers."

The potato god

Her self-description arrived early and never wavered: "I am the resident potato god." Asked about her backstory, she answered: "I think I'm the only one with lore, and it's based on potatoes." The fashion iconography followed — "Hair is gonna be light pink, and it's king" — the god had a look, and the look took four hours of back and posture issues.

The two-week queen of Hadinlough

In the earliest days she ruled Hadinlough under the name King_Maple_ — and then, on Jan 9, 2021, she abdicated in one line: "i'm leaving Hadinlough to U." Two weeks later she changed her name back to her original ("i changed it back to my original", Jan 23) — the shortest reign in the province's history, ended on her own terms, forever remembered by JStormFL's tribute: "Hadinlough potato's are the best tho gotta say."

The coup of 2021

Retirement from Hadinlough did not mean retirement from ambition. Jan 26, 2021, the logs preserve the bloodless coup: "i hereby proclaim myself the ruler of Jenava, Storm agrees with this if he does not respond." (Storm, apparently, did not respond.) Follow-ups: "everyone needs to bow down to me", "i am now the supreme overlord" — and the revolutionary's creed, two days later: "Against the 1 government on the server." The empire had been overthrown by silence and confidence.

The first market

Before the spawn tower stores, there was her market: "im building a market place for the server" (Feb 2021). Maple invented the server's economy square, then let the capital steal the idea.

The bee empire and beyond

Her advancement shelf tells the arc: Bee Our Guest and What a Deal! (Dec 27, 2020), Total Beelocation (Jan 9, 2021 — the bee kingdom), Local Brewery (Jan 2021 — the brewery), Country Lode, Take Me Home (Feb 2021), Bring Home the Beacon (Jun 5, 2021 — she beat the Wither), and the same week: Eye Spy and The End? — she went to the End and came back to tell the tale.

The rabbit tamer

Jan 21, 2022: Light as a Rabbit. Maple joined the server's most exclusive club — the fourth rabbit-tamer of ScrubCraft, after Sulack, bearssss and KiriguyaLight. The potato god, tamer of the humble bunny.

Her own lane

Maple was a Jenavan, but never only a Jenavan: her own fields, her own bees, her own brewery, her own market, her own coup. The court chronicles her as a vassal; the logs show someone who did the empire's history her way, from a distance she chose.

The shape of an era

From day one (Dec 2020) to Jan 2024 — more than three years of a presence so scattered that the paired tallies barely credit her any time at all. One kill, five deaths, a dynasty of lore: potato god, abdicated queen, silent-coup emperor, market founder, beekeeper, Wither-slayer, rabbit tamer. The only player on the server whose lore is based on potatoes — and it was the best one.
